Kitchen Manager

Cedar Knoll Country Club is looking for a motivated individual to manage its kitchen and staff. Doing so will require writing and executing a wholesome, fresh daily service menu and providing high-quality banquet meals for club events. Stepping into this position will be picking up the reins of an already established kitchen/dining establishment.


The kitchen management position requires experience in the foodservice industry. Applicants must have experience managing the entire kitchen/BoH. Wages are commensurate with the level of experience and skill required to execute this essential role, scaling dependent on food volume.

  • Preparing all offerings to a high degree of excellence

  • Writing, executing, and training staff on a menu

  • Inventory control, including ordering of produce

  • Scheduling of employees

  • Collaborating with GM & team regarding banquet menus

  • Leading the line during high-volume nights

  • Ensuring high levels of cleanliness and safe practices


The level of availability required to properly execute this position is 35-40 hours per week. An exceptionally qualified individual can have a high degree of flexibility in their scheduling, as long as the kitchen can function independently.

Pro-Shop Attendant


  • Accept payments for golf activities and food/drink

  • Ensure waivers and relevant documentation is filled out when assisting customers

  • Provide help to customers in regards to golf products and services

  • Perform basic cleaning of pro-shop and clubhouse during and at the end of shift


  • Able to work minimum of 15-20 hours per week

  • Able to work independently

  • Can learn/knows how to operate a traditional register and card processing machine

  • Able to work weekdays and at least one weekend shift

  • Reliable

  • 2-3 professional references

  • This position is great for a part-time retiree who is looking for a part time job.

Golf Course Maintenance


  • Operate mowers and precisely cut differing lengths of grass

  • Maintain sand traps

  • Tall grass trimming, weed removal, and landscaping

  • Cup cutting

  • Assist the Superintendent in many novel projects around the course


  • Able to work 40 hours per week

    • Some weekend morning shifts a must​

  • Equipment operating experience preferred but not necessary

  • Punctuality an absolute must

  • Physical labor

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • 2-3 professional references
