Bartender/Beverage Cart

Wages are very competitive for this position. Bartenders start at an hourly rate over VT minimum wage (not server rate) and receive a proportion of tips generated on the day that they work as the kitchen is also expected to help accomplish FoH work. 

Responsibilities- Bar:

  • Accept payments for food/drink

  • Take food orders and serve customers

  • Properly ID and ensure safe drinking environment

  • Clean and sanitize glasses to keep bar and dining area clean to CKCC standards (shared duty)

  • Bussing/ clearing down tables (shared duty)

Responsibilities - Beverage Cart:

  • Operate beverage cart safely and responsibly

  • Serve drinks to customers

  • Stock and unload cart

  • Selling snacks

Requirements:​

  • Able to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays through the golf season

  • Able to work independently

  • Reliable

  • 2-3 professional references

  • VT DLC Certification

Other Notes:

  • Bartenders & kitchen staff share cleaning responsibilities for dining room/deck

  • Applicants should understand that this position includes being able to perform both bartending and beverage cart dependent upon the needs of the business. Applicants must  be at least 18 years of age and able to work through the end of our season.

Line Cook

Wages are very competitive for this position. All kitchen staff receive a starting rate over VT minimum wage and take a proportional amount of tips from the day they work based on how many hours they worked. As mentioned this tip-sharing is due to a highly collaborative workplace where both Front of House and kitchen staff are required to share duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lunch and dinner dishes with a high degree of finesse

  • Prepare ingredients and components for dishes ahead of time

  • Collaborate with other cooks on banquets and large scale lunch/dinner events

  • Ensure kitchen is cleaned to CKCC standards with additional equipment cleaning/maintenance regularly

  • Wash dishes used in the preparation and serving of food

  • Bussing/clearing down tables (shared duty)

  • Keep bar and dining area clean to CKCC standards (shared duty)

Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age

    • Able to work by 3:30 on school days​

  • Able to work minimum of 15 hours per week

  • Able to work independently

  • Can learn/knows cooking techniques utilized in CKCC culinary practices

  • Able to work weekdays and at least one weekend shift

  • Reliable

  • 2-3 professional references
