About the Role
Our cooks work collaboratively and independently to execute catering and regular service menus. The Cedar Knoll kitchen is renowned for keeping both members and daily rate customers well-fed throughout and after a long day of golf. If you have never worked in a kitchen, don't worry, we offer on-the-job training!
This position shares a tip-pool with the bartending staff due to high levels of collaboration.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for both large events and normal service.
Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
Clean kitchen surfaces and equipment.
Wash dishes.
Some duties are shared between the kitchen and the front-of-house, these include...
Bussing/clearing down tables.
Cleaning dining area.
Serving food to patrons.
Whatever the kitchen manager may need assistance with!
Requirements
At least 16 years of age.
Able to work by 3:30PM on school days.
Independently mobile or consistent transportation.
15 hours per week (minimum).
Some weekend shifts required.
Reliable, communicative, and willing to learn.
Able to cook in high-stress situations.
2-3 References - If applicable.
